Once the surface has fully dried, we sweep premium polymeric sand into every joint across your walkway or patio. We work it in thoroughly — every gap, every edge, every corner — and compact it down so it seats properly between the pavers.

Polymeric sand does three things your original sand can't. It locks your pavers in place to prevent shifting and rocking. It creates a firm barrier that blocks weed growth from taking root in the joints. And it gives the finished surface a clean, intentional look that makes the entire restoration feel complete. This step alone is what separates a real restoration from a basic pressure wash.

The final step protects everything we just restored. We apply a professional-grade water-based penetrating sealer across the entire walkway surface. This sealer bonds to the paver material and locks the polymeric sand in place, creating a lasting finish.

The sealer creates a durable barrier against water penetration, freeze-thaw damage, surface staining, UV fading, and weed regrowth. It enhances the natural color and texture of your brick or pavers — giving the surface a rich, clean finish without a slippery or artificial-looking gloss.
